Mid-Week Mix Sessions: A Throwbacks Tribute
We are going to welcome 2013 with a throwbacks tribute to a dear friend, mentor, and fellow DJ that passed away last week from cancer. I was overwhelmed with grief and with a heavy heart I did the only thing I knew that would make him smile...I hit the decks, turned up the volume, and starting mixing. Some of the tracks I used he had given me over the years and I thought of him with every beat of the music. He was one of the most generous and selfless people I've ever met. He taught me so much about this business we are in and he was there to help me grow every step of the way. I will carry his memory with me forever.
So, for this mix session we are throwing it back to the 90's and I hope that it will get you up and dancing and hopefully saying "Oh man, that's my jam!"
