A Traditional Wedding at Belle Mer for Patriots Cheerleader Mary Ann Jacobs

Mary Ann, a former NFL Cheerleader for the New England Patriots, married the love of her life, Matt Jacobs, at the stunning oceanside venue, Belle Mer, in Newport, Rhode Island. We knew instantly after talking with Mary Ann and Matt for the first time that this would be one epic wedding!

As with any New England wedding, a “rain plan” must always be in place. Mary Ann and Matt graciously accepted their “rain plan” as a reality on their wedding day and moved their ceremony indoors with help from Erica of Infinite Events. The amount of adoration in the room was palpable as the Bride and Groom lovingly said their vows and “I do”. After cocktail hour and dinner, the guests enjoyed an amazing performance of “That’s Amore” by Mary Ann’s bridesmaid Kristina. Elevated Pulse used classic uplighting in a soft white color for the early part of the evening, and then changed colors later into the night.

With a guest list full of professional dancers and cheerleaders, we knew the music was going to play an integral part of their wedding reception and had to be on point. After Mary Ann and Matt’s first dance our Elevated Pulse DJ & Emcee invited everyone to the dance floor with an energizing mix of Uptown Funk, Happy by Pharrell, Build me up Buttercup, Wake me up before you go-go, and more! We kept the dance floor packed all night with current top 40, dance music, classic rock, and 90s hip hop.
